Mary, Mother of Jesus
Mary is the mother of Jesus, who said yes to God at the angel Gabriel's announcement and conceived by the Holy Spirit. She gave birth to Jesus in Bethlehem and pondered the mysteries of his life in her heart. She stood faithfully at the foot of the cross and prayed with the apostles as the Church began.
