Zacchaeus
Zacchaeus was a wealthy chief tax collector in Jericho, short in stature, who climbed a sycamore tree to catch sight of Jesus. Jesus called him down by name and chose to stay at his house. Moved by the encounter, Zacchaeus gave half his goods to the poor and repaid all he had wronged.
