Nicene Creed
The Nicene Creed is the great profession of faith drawn from the early councils of the Church, confessing the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and the saving mystery of Christ. Prayed each Sunday in the liturgy, it unites Christians across the world and the centuries in shared belief. Its careful words guard the truth of who God is and what he has done.
