Prayer of St. Francis

The Prayer of St. Francis, often called the Peace Prayer, asks God to make the one who prays an instrument of his peace, sowing love, pardon, and hope where there is hatred and despair. Though it took its form in modern times, its spirit reflects the gentle witness of St. Francis of Assisi. It invites the believer to find life by giving themselves away.
