Naaman
Naaman was a Syrian army commander stricken with leprosy who sought healing from the prophet Elisha. At first he scorned the simple command to wash in the Jordan, but when he humbled himself and obeyed, he was cleansed. Jesus later pointed to him as a foreigner who received God's mercy.
