Elisha

Elisha followed Elijah and asked for a double portion of his spirit before his master was taken up. As a prophet he worked many signs of mercy, from purifying a poisoned spring to multiplying oil for a widow in need. His ministry pointed to God's care for the lowly and the foreigner.
