Jericho
Jericho was an ancient walled city near the Jordan River, famous as the first stronghold to fall when Israel entered the Promised Land and its walls collapsed. In the Gospels Jesus passed through Jericho on his way to Jerusalem, healing a blind beggar who called out to him. It was also where he invited himself to the home of the tax collector Zacchaeus, who repented and was welcomed as a son of Abraham.
