Jacob's Well
Jacob's Well sat near the Samaritan town of Sychar, on the plot of ground the patriarch Jacob had given to his son Joseph. Tired from his journey, Jesus rested there at midday and asked a Samaritan woman for a drink. Their conversation about living water led the woman and many in her town to believe in him as the Savior of the world.
