Examination of Conscience

The Examination of Conscience, sometimes called the Examen, is a prayerful review of the day in God's presence. The believer recalls grace received, acknowledges where they fell short, and resolves to begin again with hope. Made popular through Ignatian spirituality, it is a gentle daily practice of growing in self-knowledge and closeness to the Lord.
