Magnificat
The Magnificat is the song of praise that Mary sang when she visited her cousin Elizabeth, rejoicing that God lifts up the lowly and fills the hungry with good things. Prayed each evening in the Church's Liturgy of the Hours, it celebrates God's mercy across the generations. It remains a model of humble, exultant trust in the Lord.
