Act of Love

The Act of Love, sometimes called the Act of Charity, is a prayer expressing love for God above all things and love for neighbor for God's sake. It distills the heart of Jesus' great commandment into a few sincere lines. Catholics pray it to order their affections rightly and to grow daily in the love that animates the Christian life.
