Tantum Ergo
Tantum Ergo, known in English as Down in Adoration Falling, is a hymn of Eucharistic adoration drawn from a longer text by St. Thomas Aquinas. It is traditionally sung during Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament as the faithful bow before Christ truly present. It calls hearts to reverence the mystery of the Lord given as the bread of life.
