Isaiah

Isaiah received his call in a vision of the Lord enthroned in the temple, answering, here I am, send me. His prophecies of a virgin's child and a suffering servant are read by Christians as pointing to Christ. He proclaimed both God's holiness and his comfort for a weary people.
