Pool of Siloam
The Pool of Siloam was a reservoir in Jerusalem fed by water channeled from the Gihon spring, its name understood to mean Sent. Jesus anointed the eyes of a man born blind with clay and told him to wash in this pool. The man went, washed, and came back able to see, a sign that pointed to Jesus as the light of the world.
