Adoption

Adoption is the gift by which God receives us as his own beloved children, not by birth but by his free choice in Christ. Through the Holy Spirit we can cry out 'Abba, Father,' sharing in the inheritance Jesus opens to us. This theme assures us that our deepest identity is being loved and claimed by God.
