Sea of Galilee
The Sea of Galilee is a large freshwater lake in northern Israel surrounded by fishing villages. Jesus called fishermen from its shores to become his apostles and taught the crowds from a boat. He calmed its storms and walked upon its waters, revealing his power over creation.
