Judas Iscariot
Judas Iscariot was one of the Twelve Apostles and kept the common purse for the group. He agreed to hand Jesus over to the chief priests for thirty pieces of silver and identified him with a kiss in the garden. Overcome with remorse, he returned the money and took his own life.
