Mount of Olives
The Mount of Olives is a ridge east of Jerusalem overlooking the Temple, covered with olive groves. Jesus often withdrew here to pray and taught his disciples about the days to come. He wept over Jerusalem from its slopes and ascended to the Father from this hill.
